Enallagma dubium
(Burgundy Bluet)
Enallagma dubium is uncommon in Alabama and Mississippi, although it is more likely to be seen in the southern part of both states. It usually inhabits heavily vegetated swamps, ponds, and sluggish streams, where it is often associated with water lilies or other floating plants.
