Enallagma doubledayi
(Atlantic Bluet)
Enallagma doubledayi is a fairly common damselfly in south Alabama but is less common to the north; in Mississippi this species is known from a few scattered localities in the extreme north and the extreme south. Preferred habitat seems to be small ponds; it is probably often overlooked, due to its close resemblance to the much more common E. civile.
