Coryphaeschna ingens
(Regal Darner)
Coryphaeschna ingens has been found at widely scattered localities across Alabama and Mississippi, more commonly in the southern part of each state. This species, the largest of the southeastern darners, is typically associated with heavily vegetated swamps and ponds.
