Cordulegaster bilineata
(Brown Spiketail)
Cordulegaster bilineata is apparently quite rare and localized in both Alabama and Mississippi; there are only a handful of records from each state. The breeding habitat for this early season species is limited to seeps and tiny boggy, spring-fed streams with sand/silt substrates.
