
Telebasis byersi
(Duckweed Firetail)
Telebasis byersi is very uncommon in Alabama and eastern Mississippi; it is fairly common in the western part of Mississippi, where it occurs at vegetated oxbow lakes and sloughs, especially those with abundant mats of floating vegetation, such as duckweed (Lemna).
