Expected to occur throughout both Alabama and Mississippi.  Underside of hindwing of males and females with pale postmedian band shaped like a "v".  Underside of males more orange/yellow; females more brown.  Note large dark blotch along trailing edge of hindwing.  Males have a large square black stigma; females have a large glassy spot at center of forewing.  Similar species: Fiery Skipper and Whirlabout
