Stenogomphurus consanguis
(Cherokee Clubtail)
Stenogomphurus consanguis is known in Alabama from a few scattered localities along the Appalachian foothills from Shelby to Cherokee counties; it does not occur in Mississippi. The habitat for this elusive species is small, often spring-fed, streams with some silt.
