Enallagma vesperum
(Vesper Bluet)
Enallagma vesperum apparently occurs throughout Alabama and Mississippi; scarcity of records to date probably due to the species’ dusk flight period. The habitat is ponds, lakes, and manmade reservoirs, usually where floating vegetation or other debris is present.
