Chromagrion conditum
(Aurora Damsel)
Chromagrion conditum is a fairly large, northern species that can be found in localized populations across the northern half of Alabama and the northeast portion of Mississippi. The preferred habitat seems to be the boggy edges of spring seepage streams, trickles, and spring-influenced ponds. This species usually perches with its wings partially spread.
