An uncommon hairstreak that is typically found near the edge of woods.  Range may extend throughout both Alabama and Mississippi.  Brownish gray on the ventral surface and mostly brown on dorsal surface.  Hindwing below may have white spot along leading edge.  Submarginal area of hindwing has orange/red spots and blue spot has an orange/red cap.  Similar species: Gray Hairstreak and White M Hairstreak
