Expected to occur throughout both Alabama and Mississippi.  Flies most of the year in our region.  A small, pale grayish-tan skipper with very little markings on the ventral surface.  Upper surface of forewing brown with faint cinnamon color and white spots.  White above the eyes.  Adults exhibit a unique behavior of two rapid wing beats upon landing.
